A celebration, a passion and a purpose
During an appearance on RTS, I had the pleasure of speaking about what has driven me for the past five years: artisan fermentation.
At the microphone, I told the story of Fermentierra, born in Champagne in the canton of Vaud and gradually transformed into a place for experimentation, sharing and flavour. It was also a chance to talk about the slightly mad – and rather magical – fermentation festival held in Onnens on 21 June 2025.
A living event with an exceptional guest
It is not every day that a living legend visits your village. On 21 June 2025, Sandor Ellix Katz, author of the cult book The Art of Fermentation, joined us. A defining voice in the worldwide fermentation movement, he shared his knowledge, perspective and contagious enthusiasm for microorganisms and living transformation.
Why this RTS appearance matters
Being able to discuss it on the radio is wonderful recognition for our small business. It also shows that more and more people are interested in this old, modest and powerful craft.
